uniXSCAN

CT SYSTEMS

uniXSCAN CT systems are advanced computed tomography screening solutions designed for high resolution inspection of baggage, parcels, and cargo in security critical environments.

The systems use multi angle X ray acquisition and volumetric reconstruction to generate detailed 3D representations of scanned objects. This allows operators to analyze contents layer by layer and identify threats that are difficult to detect using conventional projection based X ray systems.

Unlike traditional rotating gantry CT systems, uniXSCAN CT systems are based on fixed gantry architectures with multiple X ray sources and detector arrays. This enables simultaneous multi angle scanning, higher image clarity, reduced mechanical complexity, and lower maintenance requirements.

Advanced detection algorithms support automated identification of explosives, liquids, and other prohibited materials, while maintaining high throughput and operational efficiency.

Operational Capability Overview

Purpose, Application, and Risk Environment

Purpose: uniXSCAN CT systems are deployed to provide high accuracy detection of concealed threats within baggage and cargo using volumetric imaging and material discrimination.

Application Environments: Typical environments include airports, border crossings, governmental facilities, critical infrastructure, customs operations, and high security checkpoints where detailed inspection and high throughput are required.

Operational Risk Context: Conventional single view X ray systems may fail to detect threats hidden in cluttered or densely packed items. uniXSCAN CT systems address this by enabling multi angle inspection, 3D visualization, and advanced material analysis, improving detection capability while maintaining operational flow.

Functional Capability Overview

1. Volumetric 3D Imaging
Generates high resolution 3D reconstructions of scanned objects, allowing operators to inspect contents layer by layer rather than relying on flat images.

2. Multi Axis Scanning Architecture
Uses multiple scanning angles to analyze objects from different perspectives, improving visibility in complex or cluttered scenarios.

3. Advanced Material Discrimination
Supports identification of explosives, liquids, and hazardous materials through radiometric analysis and algorithm based classification.

4. Automated Threat Detection Support
Integrates AI assisted detection capabilities to highlight areas of interest and reduce operator workload.

5. High Throughput Screening
Designed for continuous operation with high processing speeds, supporting large volumes of baggage and parcels in operational environments.

6. Reduced Mechanical Complexity
Fixed gantry design minimizes moving parts, reducing maintenance requirements and increasing system uptime.

7. Checkpoint Integration Capability
Can be integrated into existing screening infrastructure and operational workflows with minimal adaptation.
