Strategical Meaning of Jamming Systems Digital frequency jamming has become an essential part of IED protection, whether for mobile applications such as motorcades but also for all types of stationary applications in governmental buildings.
Jamming systems can be used for jamming of RCIEDs to prevent the activation of radio controlled roadside bombs and for prevention of any communication means and transmission of data from mobile devices out of restricted areas such as governmental buildings and also prisons.
While most systems operating in the world’s crisis zones are still analoge systems, unival® group is taking digital jamming to the next level allowing high-profile clients for the first time to indiviually programm their digital jamming system based on local intelligence. Each system can be individually configured for optimum usage in the respective area of usage. In addition our clients have access to our internal ressources in terms of in-house development and programming to ensure the best system performance in real-life scenarios.
We don’t operate with best case laboratory figures but work on worst case scenarios to give our clients a realistic protection pattern allowing to set the individual strategy on real-life data. For this reason we always conduct field tests both in Germany but also at client site during the approval process to achieve a 100% satisfactory rate that makes the difference in the field. Only after a successful acceptance tests, we will start serial production of multiple system.
unival®group also develops and manufacturers stationary and portable man-pack jamming systems based on its unique FPGA control software. |
